Jefferson Ave. Every Tuesday at 7:00pm (The munch is not affiliated with J.C.'s in any way, beyond using the restaurant as a place to meet.) For anyone interested in BDSM and/or in meeting others involved in BDSM, there is a munch right here in Corvallis. The munch provides an opportunity for those interested in the scene to meet others in the area with similar interests; it is a low-pressure environment, in which people get together to chat about whatever is on their mind, find out who else is out there, show off their toys, and complain about how boring Corvallis is. Anyone who is curious or interested is welcome to stop by; we are a pan-sexual, pan-scholastic group. Even people who don't like Babylon 5 are welcome.[*] The munch generally begins around 7:00 and ends at 9:00, though those times may vary a bit from week to week. [In other words, if there isn't anyone there exactly at 7:00, give us a few more minutes. ;)] No RSVP is necessary -- just look upstairs in the back for the table with the black balloons, pull up a chair, and join us! For those not familiar with Corvallis, J.C.'s Pizzaria is located at the corner of Jefferson and 3rd. If you are coming from out of town, just follow ORE 34 into town where it becomes Harrison, and turn left on 4th. Jefferson will be about 5 blocks down, where you should make another left turn; J.C.'s is at the end of that block, on the right side of the street. To get more information about the munch, find out how to get there, or ask any other questions, you can send email to myself (Dianne) at , or Gary Ringenwald at . Additional on-line information, including a cheesy ASCII map, is available on the Web at . See you there! [*] Extremely funny in-joke; -everyone-, of course, likes Babylon 5. -------------------------+------------------------------ __ Dianne Kyra Hackborn | "Beware of what you want, \/ Oregon State Univ. | for it might want you more." hackbod@cs.orst.edu | -- The Residents Life life, I need a life |
